Penny Black Fresh Poppies Card

Hello friends, thank you for stopping by.  I could not resist watercolouring a Penny Black Inc. image - I have used the fresh cling stamp - how pretty are those poppies - we used to have Californian Poppies growing in our garden and they always looked so bright and happy - love that!!

The image has been stamped onto Watercolour paper using Imagine Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black. and has been coloured using Melissa FrancesWatercolour Paints and an Aqua Brush.
Next it has been cut/embossed using the A-2 Matting Basics B Card Creator Etched Dies and the Platinum Die Cutting Machine.

The card front has been randomly splattered using Imagine irRESISTibles Pico Embellisher in Tuxedo Black and then popped up onto slightly larger Black card stock using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares and then onto the pre-cut yellow card base

I have finished with a computer generated sentiment adhered to the lower right hand side of the flower using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L E-Z Adhesive Runner Ultra.  Again, I do like this sentiment - it is perfect for so many occasions - birthdays, Mothers Days - even a Sympathy card.
