Dad's Car

Hello blog friends, we can never have too many masculine cards, today's card is created using bits and pieces from my desk.  Giving a vintage and eclectic card - one of my favourite styles.

The background paper, by Authentique™ Paper,  has been embossed using a Spellbinders® Double-Sided M-Bossabilities. Spellbinders Labels Seventeen has been cut/embossed using the Grand Calibur Die Cutting and Embossing Machine has been used as a sensible sponging around the inside edges using Imagine Craft/Tsukineko Delicata ink in Golden glitz.

The letters have been stamped in Imagine Craft/Tsukineko Memento Ink in Espresso Truffle think think and cut/embossed using Standard Circles SM Spellbinders® Nestabilities and adhered to the Enhanced Banner Spellbinders® Celebra’tions™ Die .  Bakers Twine has been wrapped around the layers secured using a button. The vintage car is from my stash and the cog from the Spellbinders Sprightly Sprockets Shapeabilities.  The printed page from a recycled book has been torn and added to the lower portion of the card. I've used Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L on this card.

The image and sentiment are stamped using the Fiskar 'For the Birds' stamp set and   IMAGINECrafts®/Tsukineko® Memento™ Ink in Espresso Truffle.

Flowers Galore

It is always good to have some extra cards in hand - I love this pre-embossed paper, such a great paper to colour.

Making cards on mass is not what I do - I get bored - so four cards was pretty good for me.  I did make each one slightly different - the colours vary as well as the embellishments.

I have coloured using IMAGINECrafts®/Tsukineko® Memento™ Markers and an Aqua Brush.  Each card has been cut/embossed using the A2 Curved Matting Basics A Spellbinders® Nestabilities® Card Creator using the Spellbinders® Grand Calibur® Die Cutting and Embossing Machine.

The sentiments and trim vary with each card - one from My Fun Stampers Journey, Stampin' Up, Penny Black Inc and a clear stamp from my stash.

The bling is from Want2Scrap, I have also used  Scrapbook by Adhesives by 3L  E-Z Dots Permanent  Adhesive Runner on this card.

I have also used embellishments from My Fun Stampers Journey and May Arts.

These cards are for the following challenges:
Little Miss Muffet Challenges - Anything Goes (runs until the new year)
Cards Galore Encore - Anything Goes!
Crafting Musketeers - "Use Bling"
Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper – Anything goes with Patterned Paper
The Sisters of Craft - Anything Goes

Spellbinders Products:
Cross Promotional Products:
Other: Cream card stock; Anna Griffin - Lots of Layers Patterned Paper; Mauve card stock; Sanding Block, Green patterned paper

 1. Cut patterned paper to 6cm x 14cm.  Place A2 Scalloped Borders Three Borderabilities® along the right edge and cut/emboss using the Grand Calibur.
 2. Use the Die as a stencil and sponge along the patterned edge using Bamboo Leaves and a sponge Dauber.

3. Cut the mauve card stock so it is slightly longer than the top layer and 2cm wider.  Add Cutting Edge Die to the card stock and cut/emboss using the Grand Calibur Machine.
4. Sand along the patterned edges using Sanding Block
5. Attach Cutting edge only to the front of the card base only - NOTE: To ensure you are not cutting the back as well, lie the card base open and flat.

 6. Adhere the different layers onto the card base, using E-Z Adhesive Runner.
 7. Cut card liner slightly smaller than the base, in white card stock, adhere inside the card base, make sure to line up so that is gives the impression of another layer.
 8. Cut two (2) Foliage Flourish in green card stock.
 9. Adhere to lower left corner using liquid glue.
10. Cut one (1) medium and two (2) Blooms Four using white card stock. Colour the leaves lightly using pink.
