Spellbinders Diamond Anniversary: Sneak Peek and Giveaway Day 5

  Welcome to the Spellbinders Diamond Anniversary: Sneak Peek and Giveaway - Day Five.  I am excited to share with you some NEW Spellbinders Paper Arts die templates from the Winter 2014 Diamond Anniversary release!



 You will have the chance to win the new die templates I have used by entering the contest at the bottom of this post. Join me and  the ladies from A Gilded Life  as we share our projects for this Sneak Peek Event!



I’ve created two projects for you so that you can see the amazing versatility of the Spellbinders dies. Whether you are just learning to papercraft or you are an advanced artist, Spellbinders die templates will stretch your imagination! Always explore beyond your dreams and your artwork will be amazing!


I am showcasing Spellbinders newest die templates:Gold Labels One

Other:  Scissors, Liquid Glue, Seam Binding (Pink, Sanding Block


Using the Grand Calibur® Machine cut/emboss two (2) Grand Decorative Labels One Grand Nestabilities #1 in pink card.
Note:  It is recommended to use Wax Paper between the card stock and the Die (wax side up) to help remove the card from the Die. Remove the wax paper as shown below.




Using the  Scor-Pal® Score a line at a 4 1/4inches fold at the scoreline and add
SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES BY 3L™ - E-Z Runner - permanent strips along the folded section. Attach to the other Die, making sure to line up the pattern.




Using the Grand Calibur Junior Magnetic Placement Mat layer the Dies in the following order

Gold Labels One #5 #6 #7 followed by Grand Labels One Nestabilities#1 - hold in place using masking tape or washi tape.




Cut/emboss one (1)  Labels One Nestabilities # in pink card, lightly sand around the edges using a Sanding Block. 



 Using the Grand Calibur Junior Magnetic Placement Mat layer the Dies in the following order Gold Labels One #1 #1 #2 followed by Labels One Nestabilities#.



Layer all of the Dies using SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES BY 3L™ - E-Z Runner - permanent strips, finishing with 3D Foam Dots on the top white layerAdd a length of Seam Binding around the lower portion of the card, approx 3/4inch from the lower edge - secure using strong double sided tape.  Attach a triple bow ro the bottom left hand corner.




Here is a second card I have created using the :Gold Labels One combined with the Rounded Squares
Nestabilities® and  Les Papillions Two Shapeabilities®.  I have used the Faux Letterpress Technique on this card.
